Adhesive bonding is still considered as a tedious, complex process resulting in a permanent joint, limiting recyclability.

This showcase will illustrate how advanced digital work instructions can ensure a qualitative, standardized process.

Moreover, through the application of smart adhesives, debonding-on-demand is facilitated, enabling recyclability and hence a greener future.

Activities:

• Development of digital work instructions for adhesive bonded parts, based on input from a CAD design
• Deployment of digital work instructions through projection systems, supporting the operator
• Assembly & disassembly of lightweight bonded application with debonding-on-demand technology.
