NMC, short for Noël Marquet & Cie, is a public limited company founded in 1950 in the German-speaking commune of Hauset. The first business activities consisted of distributing polyurethane sponges and other synthetic household products throughout the Benelux. In the 1970s, the company started to produce pipe insulations and interior decoration profiles from extruded synthetic foams. Today, the synthetic foam products remain the heart of the business which, in the meantime, counts on 1600 employees distributed over 25 sites in 16 countries. Still based in the German-speaking community of Belgium, the Eynatten home-base employs 500 people and realized a consolidated turnover of about 280 M€ in 2020, with an EBITDA of almost 62 M€.
